My 8 week Compassionate Mind Course is an interesting mix of basic neuroscience, evolutionary psychology, mindfulness and imagery practice.
I teach this to groups or individuals who will benefit from having a more balanced view of life, a ‘toolbox’ of resources to help when times are tough and a greater ability to be compassionate to themselves and others.
The teaching will always be delivered with warmth, kindness and humour. You will also be encouraged and supported to find ways to incorporate the practices into everyday life.
Compassionate Mind techniques can be used in many settings but is particularly useful in instances where caregivers are at risk of ‘burn-out’ or mental and physical ill health; e.g. Carers (paid or unpaid/family members), NHS staff, staff working in care homes, volunteers working for charitable organisations or to individuals who would like to develop personally or professionally.
The Compassionate Mind Course consists of 8 weekly group sessions – this includes recordings of the practices and a detailed useful links plus 2 follow-up emails/meetings for ongoing support. Cost; £35/session payable in advance. Courses are held in central Norwich. Contact me for availability (see contacts page).
